Meet the Team

Keisha Perry MSEd looking a head

Keisha Perry MSEd, MSPAS, PA-C

 Keisha received her Master of Science in Education from the University of Bridgeport and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Christian Brothers University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. 


She has been in practice for ten years and has experience in the fields of primary care, urgent care, and interventional pain management. She began her physician assistant career in Memphis, TN at Christ Community Health Services practicing primary care. From there she moved to Arizona and practiced in the fields of home health and urgent care. She continued on to Virginia where she again worked in urgent care and family medicine before relocating to Delaware where she worked in interventional pain management and primary care.  


Prior to becoming a Physician Assistant she was a licensed teacher and taught middle school and high school science in Bridgeport and New Haven, Connecticut.  She has 40 credits in naturopathy from the former University of Bridgeport College of Naturopathic Medicine and 30 Graduate level credits in Biology from Saint Joseph University in West Hartford, CT.  When determining the best path for clients she  utilizes an integrative health approach gleaned from an accumulation of naturopathic, medical, and  biological knowledge. 


She has specialized training in whole food nutrition, environmental, restorative, and functional medicine.  


Her passion is combining her knowledge of basic science at the mitochondrial and cellular level together with healing principles and best medical practices in order to help her clients reach optimal wellness.

Dr. Herman M. Ellis, MD, MPH, FACPM, AOAAM

Dr. Ellis received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine and his Master of Public Health from the University of Michigan School of Public Health. Dr. Ellis is board certified in addiction medicine, public health, and general preventive medicine. He is presently practicing preventive addiction medicine and treatment in addition to primary care with an emphasis on nutrition and alternative health. Dr. Ellis also provides health education services via telemedicine platform.  


Dr. Ellis is the former Medical Director of the Delaware Division of Public Health. In that role, he served as Chief of statewide Clinical Operations. Dr. Ellis continues to serve as an expert in population infectious diseases. He was elected and served two terms with the Board of the American College of Preventive Medicine (ACPM) representing board certified public health physicians in the United States and Canada. He received recognition from the Delaware Assembly.

 

He is a former New Jersey State Epidemiologist and Assistant Commissioner of Health and Senior Services; and the former Chief of Epidemiology for the United States Navy's Atlantic Fleet. 

Dr. Ellis is the founding chair and associate professor of the Department of Occupational and Preventive Medicine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN. He served 10+ years as an assistant professor with the Department of Environmental Sciences at the Columbia University School of Public Health. 


Dr. Ellis served as Clinical Division Director of the Federal Occupational Health, a division within the US Department of Health and Human Services. The division had a budget of $115 Million with over 1500 employees serving more than one million federal employees from more than 250 federal agencies including the Internal Revenue Service and the Secret Service. 


Dr. Ellis serves as collaborating physician  and Medical Director of Natural Center for Wellness LLC.
